Perhaps it's not so much global warming that's raising the sea level but the tonnes of junk being sent to the bottom of the ocean. When HMAS Brisbane passes the Sydney heads for the last time later this year and is sunk off the Sunshine Coast at the end of a distinguished career, she will nestle alongside hundreds of other abandoned or scuttled ships in a rusting rim around Australia's coast.
